A van driver has received Ł7000 compensation from a large UK food delivery firm after a faulty van door slammed shut and crushed his hand.

The man was delivering bread buns to Burger King when the accident happened. Staff at Burger King were unable to free his hand so called fire fighters who had to use cutting equipment to free the man.
