Movement of the neck make the pain worse and often cause severe, sharp neck pain. People suffering from whiplash may also experience stiffness in the neck muscles and a decreased range of movement in the neck. The neck pain after whiplash often spreads to the shoulders and the upper back between the shoulder blades. Headache after whiplashThe second most common symptom of whiplash is a headache. The headache is usually felt at the back of the neck and can sometimes last for weeks after the incident that caused the injury. Blurred vision after whiplashMany people suffering from whiplash have problems with their vision. This takes the form of trouble focusing vision and can last for a few days after a whiplash injury. This occurs in about 10 percent of whiplash suffers and usually clears quickly without treatment.
